i failed once again in making and sending out christmas cards.
again.
it happens every year and starts in november with a feeling of confidence that THIS YEAR is the year that I'll get the cards out by the first week of december.
and then life gets hectic and i keep telling myself i'll get to it tomorrow or the next weekend cuz i still have 4 weeks, 3 weeks, 2 weeks... 3 days before christmas to send them out.
anyways, rob was kind enough to remind me that it's not about the cards.
so, i dropped scope.
not the mouth washing product but the project deliverable that is christmas.
and suddenly, i was enjoying the season again. i even bought gifts.
we had a great dinner with my family supplemented with calls to out-of-town family in edmonton, kelowna and taiwan.
notice my brother's face; he was 1 minute away from crashing on the couch for the remainder of the evening due to a massive headache.
my nephew is looking a gift comprising of 4 small pocky boxes. lucky boy.
lucky me.
